1. Introduction
By downloading or using Kongo ("the app", "the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. The Service
Kongo is a workout tracking app available free on the Apple App Store for iOS. A Pro subscription is available that unlocks additional features.
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through your Apple ID via the App Store. Subscription terms, including free trials, cancellations, and refunds, are governed by Apple's policies.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.
3. Your Account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Kongo
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their permission
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Post spam, fraudulent content, or misleading information
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable law
5. User Content
Workout data, display names, and bio text you provide remain yours. By using social features, you grant Kongo a limited, non-exclusive license to display your shared content to your approved friends within the app. You are responsible for any content you share, and we may remove content that violates these Terms.
6. No Medical Advice
Kongo is a workout logging tool only. Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have a pre-existing health condition.
7. Intellectual Property
The Kongo name, logo, gorilla mascot, and app design are owned by Kongo. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kongo is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the app.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Uruguay, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
